The Ministry of Culture will be evaluating the sixth round of the competition tonight.&"Example"» In its second edition, which is held under the slogan&"Morality has its own reasons"»

The ministry broadcast the episode via its digital platforms, providing a link to watch the live stream, and invited the public, particularly those with an interest in poetry, to follow it.

The upcoming episode will feature a fierce competition between the five poets, who were announced by the Ministry of Culture just days ago as having qualified for the sixth round of the competition, namely: Rahim Al-Gannam, Muhammad Al-Mufrej Al-Sabahi, Saud Al-Sabook, Shayish Al-Attawi, and Dabis Al-Qahatani.

The competition includes poems presented by the poets themselves, in a free verse section in front of the judging panel. Each poet will be given one stanza from a collection of classic Qatari poetry, and they must compose three verses that incorporate the chosen stanza, either at the beginning or the end, as the poet sees fit.

The competition lasts for nine months, with a poet being crowned in each episode, who then competes with the nine poets for the title and the following positions in the final round, which will coincide with the celebrations of the country's National Day in 2025. The winner of the final round will receive 1 million Qatari riyals, and those in second to ninth place will receive 100,000 riyals each.

The competition comes within the Ministry of Culture's efforts to support poetic talents and highlight the most distinguished ones, and to develop the poetry movement in Qatar. The competition is one of the most prominent competitions that highlights Nabati poetry, as it is an integral part of the Gulf and Arab cultural heritage.

describes&"Example"&"It is a cultural competition dedicated to Nabataean poetry, aiming to establish the importance of Nabataean poetry among new generations, encourage creators to present their works in a renewed style that reflects the developments of the era without compromising the cultural heritage, and support poetic talents and highlight the most outstanding ones."

The competition represents an investment in the contests organized by the Ministry of Culture in previous years, during which it presented numerous examples of classical and Nabataean Arabic poetry to the creative scene, and received significant engagement from poets. These competitions also introduced many poets to the literary scene, who have since become prominent figures through various platforms and cultural events.
