No body has been spared from the ravages, and no refuge has been found from the sounds of empty stomachs, in the Gaza Strip, which has been under Israeli occupation for nearly twenty months, and which has been on the brink of complete famine since March of last year. In this small corner of the world, you will see different colors of death: not just bullets, not just the demolition of homes on the heads of their inhabitants, not just the forced displacement of communities, but also the denial of food and water, in a systematic killing policy that implements everything it desires under the slogan of…&"Who is guilty of being rude?"»
The occupation attempted to create a perfect scenario by destroying infrastructure, bombing hospitals, targeting water sources, manipulating food and medicine supply chains, and systematically discrediting any entity trying to provide assistance. This was a meticulously planned strategy to starve the people into submission, or even death. For the Israeli decision-maker, whether a Palestinian died of starvation, fire, or under the rubble of their home was irrelevant. The important thing was to empty Gaza, or to make it kneel. However, this did not happen. The Gazans chose to remain and resist. As a result, the occupation decided to crush them with their own methods.
Since the beginning of March 2025, the occupation has not only been closing the crossings, but has also deployed a new organization called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation to distribute aid in a military and bloody manner, without coordination with UNRWA or any other neutral international organization. After the occupying entity deliberately targeted bakeries, one by one, and bulldozed agricultural land, and deprived Palestinians of their last hope under the wheels of bulldozers, as well as targeting aid volunteers, including those from the World Food Programme and activists from the organization.&World Central Kitchen&"… and some were killed in cold blood on the streets, with no real presence of aid agencies now. UNRWA, which has long been a lifeline for Palestinians, has been attacked by the government.&Netanyahu Yahoo&"Through skepticism and condemnation, and by drying up its funding sources under pressure from Israeli lobbies in the West, the entity has been able to implement its plan, which is now being carried out on the ground after its military, backed by major powers, failed to force Palestinians, particularly those in Gaza, to leave their land and displace them, resorting, as usual, to the most extreme practices of using food, drink, and medical care as weapons to pressure resistance factions into complying with its demands and to eliminate the residents of the sector."
...Despite what we see and witness with our own eyes, from the sight of people's eyes being strained to the point of disbelief, to the sight of corpses that have become skeletal due to extreme hunger, such as the body of the young Palestinian martyr, Muhammad al-Sawafiri, who was martyred on Sunday, and the child, Youssef al-Safadi, who was martyred early on Tuesday, between the arms of his father due to malnutrition, the Ministry of Health in Gaza has announced that the number of victims of starvation has risen to 22. Faced with these scenes that are truly appalling, we also see on the other side of the crossings, scenes that are described as "terrorist" by a number of extremist settlers who are blocking the few convoys heading to Gaza, throwing bags of flour on the ground after tearing them, and assaulting drivers, who are repeating...&"No food for our enemies"&"… while protecting the army of their occupying entity, and without any movement from the international community, as if the international conventions and laws were designed to protect the borders of the "White Europe"!
In this context, and given these brutal practices, the Arab voice is absent – there are no emergency summits, no red lines drawn, no sieges lifted, but rather a call from the Arab League to hold a meeting.&– Tuesday – to investigate the severity of the humanitarian situation in Gaza! But why do they need research and study when they should be observing what is happening in Gaza? What is happening in Gaza does not need research, but immediate action to save what can be saved, so that you do not become enemies of the people of Gaza.
In Western forums, the equation is clear: if what is happening in Gaza were to occur in any European country, world leaders would rush to hold conferences and activate Chapter VII of the UN Charter, which provides the legal framework that allows the UN to take coercive measures to maintain international peace and security when the Security Council determines that a threat to them exists. However, since the victims here are Arabs and Muslims, there is no objection to a global silence and complicity, nor is there any shame in mass deaths on screens.
In conclusion...
Hunger, as everyone knows, does not kill suddenly, but rather, it slowly devours, destroying dignity before the body. This is precisely what the occupier wants: to break the Gazan spirit and to derive pleasure from their suffering. The crime of genocide through starvation, which is practiced against the people of Gaza, is politically orchestrated and militarily executed, and is legitimized by a deadly international silence.
What is happening in Gaza is not just a siege, but a moral test for the entire world, a test of conscience, and for the United Nations, whose slogans have silenced us, and for the peoples, and for all of us. Every delay in intervention is an implicit approval of the crime, and every silence is complicity.
