Gaza and suffering... the triple threat

The path of the pen deviates from writing about issues that require highlighting in order to find solutions and emphasize the importance of disseminating them as a duty for the public interest, towards the afflicted and starving people of Gaza, who live between the fires of Israeli and American missiles and the deadly hunger, how painful and distressing are the scenes we witness daily as the people of Gaza fall like autumn leaves on the land of Gaza due to hunger and malnutrition, which compels us to write out of a sense of human responsibility that we have today, as we are a nation whose words precede its actions. Isn't this what Arabs say, "a sound phenomenon"? Then, our pain increases when we see the emotions and sentiments of the West and its people move in response to the dirty practices of Israel in attempts to break the siege through words, actions, demonstrations, and boycotts at the level of Western peoples and governments. And seventy-five Arab and Islamic countries have not been affected in any way.&Hanẓla» 21 activists, representing diverse nationalities, cultures, and beliefs, have been continuing their march for seven days to reach the beaches of the sector, in order to break the siege and provide aid.&"Template"&"Where are we and why are the Arab channels and crossings closed?!" &...&... Oh Gaza, you have been abandoned to the Zionist wolves and their barbarity, which are killing and starving innocent people. What crime have you committed to deserve this?! This is the shame of the Arab world, which is embodied in our silent, submissive, and complicit Arab governments. Who will stop the Israeli crime, and why do our Arab countries have so many accumulated weapons? What good are they for, if not used against the enemy? Who will protect the children, infants, and the elderly from the specter of hunger and malnutrition?&"Hood, Zainab, and Promise"&"... and others starve, with daily deaths due to hunger. Hundreds of thousands of riyals are spent on entertainment. And the various types of prostitutes, not to mention the excessive spending on all occasions and events, with 100,000 children at risk of death if the milk supply is not provided by the responsible authorities!&"Haven't we read the verse: "And stop them, for they are responsible, why do you not support them"? Don't we realize the systematic and religiously-motivated Crusader plans to kill and starve children in order to prevent future retaliation? How can we enjoy security and stability while we are preoccupied with the ongoing Zionist-American expansion from Gaza to Syria and Southern Lebanon, and perhaps even extend to neighboring border areas that refuse to open their borders and channels?&...and its extension continues with the silence of the graves, which touched upon the Arabic sentiments and emotions, and forgot what Omar said:&"If I find a stray dog on the road in Iraq, I will ask God about it."&"Today, hundreds of people are dying daily, and someone must ask about them and save them! Meanwhile, the United States is calling for the release of prisoners, and Trump is blaming the Palestinian resistance for the ongoing conflict and the need to eliminate Hamas. The war will continue as long as the Arabs do not stand together against Zionism and its allies. Gaza remains trapped between three forms of suffering: bombardment, hunger, and the silence of the Arab world."

Friday... on the scales of debate

A proposal to designate Friday as a working day with reduced hours, sparking debate on social media platforms, has been met with both opposition and support. The proposal suggests that official holidays would begin after prayer and continue through Saturday and Sunday. However, the opposition argues that this proposal contradicts religious and cultural values, and that it does not fully understand the implications of its implementation. Furthermore, the proposal is seen as a mere suggestion that could be implemented or rejected, given the changing nature of reality and concepts, particularly those related to identity, social and religious principles. This opposition emphasizes the need to preserve and uphold these values and principles with certainty and conviction, in the face of Western cultural and intellectual influences that have permeated Arab societies and undermined religious and social values that distinguish us as Islamic communities. Some countries have adopted this approach, and it is being implemented in practice, while others are still in the study phase. This raises many concerns and objections. How can we abolish Friday, a day that stands out from the rest of the week with its religious and spiritual atmosphere, and replace it with Saturday and Sunday? Since we were young, we have known that Friday is a special day for worship, and we have been instructed by God in the Holy Quran to prepare for it: "O you who believe, when the call for prayer on Friday comes, hasten to it. But if you are prevented, then perform your salah. Verily, Allah is forgiving and Merciful." What is happening today? Have we become so willing to adopt Western changes that we are even willing to change our religious feelings and rituals? Are we blindly following their path, sacrificing our religious identity and traditions in exchange for their culture and commands? This is their goal today! They sanctify Saturday and Sunday.&"Jews and Christians"&"They have their place and importance as a fixed holiday, due to its connection with practicing their beliefs. We ignore the value of this day and marginalize it, replacing it under the guise of change and development and civilization. What kind of change is this when worldly interests outweigh religious interests, and Western interests outweigh the interests of Muslims? What kind of development is this when Western interests dictate the marginalization of our beliefs and the dismantling of our traditions? Enough with our subservience and acceptance of what the West dictates to us. Our religious traditions are a red line. Friday is a sacred day for drawing closer to God and reciting the Quran. It has its feelings, virtues, and customs. We must adhere to them as we have always done since childhood, as the Prophet said, "One of the best days for you is Friday, in which Adam was created, in which he was killed, in which the breath was blown, and in which the thunderclap occurred. So make the most of it in prayer." We hope that this is a suggestion that can be reconsidered and rejected before it is implemented. Before we implement it, let us hold onto it as a sacred day for drawing closer to God through increased worship, obedience, remembrance, and charity, as the Jews and Christians hold onto their rituals on their Sabbath days."&... So should we follow them and emulate them?
