Identity and Gaza

It may not seem like there's a direct connection between the question of identity and what's happening in Gaza. The discussions about identity that have taken place throughout history require a whole article on their own. But what is the connection between these discussions and what's happening in Gaza, including the siege of the population, which has reached the point of starvation as a means of escape, after the destruction of homes, camps, and hospitals, and the mass killing of its residents? In summary, the question of identity has undergone various stages, marked by both successes and failures. When the Arab nationalist slogan emerged, it was in opposition to colonialism, which was correct. However, after liberation from colonialism, the slogan appeared in various countries, with the aim of achieving Arab unity by force. This led to conflicts that yielded nothing but loss, and the intervention of foreign powers, as seen in Egypt's 1967 Israeli attack and the many soldiers from our army in Yemen, or in Iraq after the Kuwait invasion and the subsequent American and European intervention, which transformed Iraq. Since the 1970s, the Islamic revival movement has emerged, leading to sectarian conflicts within the same people. These conflicts have repeatedly reappeared, and the most recent example is the situation of the Druze in Syria, where Israel has since carried out attacks on Syria to protect the Druze from Muslims!! Between Arab nationalism and the Islamic revival, Gaza seems to belong to a galaxy far removed from our Arab world. What happens there affects a people who are not Arab in identity or Muslim in religion. Neither the United Nations nor the Arab League are fulfilling their roles. The most prominent issue is the conflict on social media between many Egyptians and other Arab countries, each blaming the other for not supporting Gaza. The question of Arab identity is being ignored, and I don't want to say anything about Islam because there are Christian and other groups within the Arab people. However, Islam and Muslims are being highlighted because we are the majority among the Arab people. I feel great sadness and sorrow for many reasons. Arab identity has never left my thoughts throughout my life, nor has religion. But to live and see a people being destroyed, to the point of starvation, is something I never wanted to see. I don't know to whom I should address my concerns. Should the judges or the people bear the responsibility, but we address both of them. Throughout history, many nations and peoples have fallen due to their complacency, but is there anything worse than the massacre of the people of Gaza, which we are living through today? And if we don't see immediate consequences, they will come with time. Aside from politics, any rational person knows that Israel's false dream is a state from the Nile to the Euphrates, and attempting to exterminate the people of Gaza is a step in that direction. I return to talk about the great sin we are living under. Who will bear this sin? And will God differentiate between the people and the rulers when He brings His judgment? Is the only hope for the people of Gaza, and the limited sympathy of a few countries, and demonstrations in countries that support Israel, such as France, Britain, or the United States? And will someone emerge from among them who asks, "What are you doing, and over a billion Muslims are watching?" Or will they simply write on social media? Will our silence about Gaza allow Israel to cling even more to its myth from the Nile to the Euphrates? Let's move away from politics and enter the meaning of humanity. Is humanity the essence of our religion? How is our religion now? I know that religion will continue despite anything, but how can we continue to live under this sin? Waiting for God's mercy is correct, but how can we simply watch?
